CriderAmericas® Introduces Cost-Saving, Adaptable Ventilation System

CriderAmericas® is pleased to announce the release of its new, patented, center arch roof ventilation system, FlexVent(tm). FlexVent's innovative design is available as a single or double vent and promises growers the best in ventilation at a significantly lower cost.

Utilizing Dynaglas® panels, FlexVent eliminates the need for most of the costly aluminum and steel vent hardware, significantly reducing the costs compared to conventional vent systems. FlexVent easily accommodates insect screen and features built-in condensation control.

Irwindale, Calif.-based CriderAmericas recently completed the first successful installation of the FlexVent system in North America.

Broussards, a bedding plant and poinsettia grower in Lafayette, La., is now using CriderAmericas' FlexVent.

"We purchased an entire structure from CriderAmericas, and we are very satisfied with the job they did and the structure itself," said Steve Girourd, general manager of Broussards. "We decided to go with the FlexVent as well because it seemed like a great new technology."

Although FlexVent and the new greenhouse structure that houses it have only been completed at Broussards since March 2003, Girourd says he's confident they will prove to be great benefits. "I anticipate no problems with FlexVent or any of CriderAmericas' products. They are operating as expected and I'm looking forward to working with them for the next decade or so."
