CriderAmericas Opens Austin Office

As part of its expansion strategy in the Western United States, CriderAmericas has recently opened a branch office in Austin, Texas.

The Irwindale, California, based manufacturer and distributor of greenhouse structures and components specializes in the specific requirements of the Western United States, where climatic and market-specific characteristics place different demands on greenhouse structures than in other parts of the country. With the recent addition of the Austin office, CriderAmericas will enhance its ability to meet the needs of its extensive customer base.

The new branch office is lead by Clay Crider, vice president of sales for CriderAmericas. Crider, an Austin native, has been in the greenhouse manufacturing business for six years, formerly with Hired Hand. He has been catering to growers in the Western United States since the beginning of his career in this industry.

"Service is my forte," remarks Crider. "I am looking forward to assisting my customers with all of their greenhouse structure, and cooling- and heating equipment needs," he continues.

CriderAmericas plans to have full-service manufacturing capabilities in both locations in the future. "The Western part of the United States is a very important horticulture market," explains Steven Crider, founder and president. "California and Texas alone account for almost 25% of all floriculture crop sales in the country. We feel strongly that we can provide the best level of service to our customers due to the fact that we know their specific needs like nobody else," he continues.

CriderAmericas specializes in greenhouse design, manufacturing, and construction with focus on the specific needs of the Western United States, Mexico, and Central America. Founded in 1999 by industry veteran Steven Crider, the company prides itself in providing its customers with excellent service tailored to their particular climate and market requirements.

For immediate release October 2001.
